Dear Daystar Partners and Friends,
As I sit and reflect on forty years of serving on the Board of Daystar, I find it difficult to put into words what this journey has meant to me. Forty years represent more than a period of time-they represent a lifetime of memories, prayers, challenges, victories, and above all, the faithfulness of God. My heart is filled with gratitude.
I have watched God do things that only God could do. I have seen doors open that no person could have opened, provision come when it was desperately needed, and lives changed through the simple power of the Gospel. Through it all, I have learned again and again that when God calls, He also provides.
But when I think about these forty years, I don't primarily think about buildings, programs, technology, or accomplishments. I think about partners, I think about you. You prayed when we needed prayer. You gave when there was a need. You encouraged us when the road was most difficult. You believed in the calling of Daystar and stood with us because you believed that the message of Jesus Christ must continue to reach the world. Somewhere, right now someone is watching Daystar who feels forgotten, who is hurting, who is searching, who needs hope. And because of your support that person can hear the Good News of Jesus.
We may never know all the lives that have been touched because you choose to partner with this ministry. We may never hear every testimony or know every story. But I believe there will come a day in eternity when we see the full harvest and realize that every prayer, every gift, and every act of faith mattered.
Philippians 1: 3-5 expresses what is in my heart: "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you… for your fellowship in the Gospel from the first day until now." After forty years, I can say these words with all my heart.
Thank you for walking this journey with us. Thank you for believing. Thank you for praying. Thank you for giving. And thank you for helping us keep Jesus at the center of everything we do. It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to serve Daystar. I am humbled by the journey behind us, deeply grateful for the partners God has placed along the way, and filled with expectation for what He will yet do. With all my heart, thank you.
