Letters from Joni | January 2026

Dear Partner,

There is something so refreshing about stepping into a brand new year. January invites us to lift our eyes, open our hearts, and believe again that God has beautiful things ahead. I love Ephesians 3:20, which reminds us that God is able to do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.” What a promise as we begin a new season together!

This year, I want to encourage you to live with expectation. Expect God to move in your circumstances. Expect Him to open doors no one else can open. Expect Him to bring restoration, healing, provision, and peace. The Lord has continually impressed on my heart over this last year: “trust Him.” We may not know everything ahead of us, but we can trust God no matter what. When we align our hearts with faith and trust His goodness, we position ourselves to see His hand at work in our lives in ways we never thought possible.

So, let’s step into 2026 with hope! I truly believe this can be a year marked by miracles as we walk in expectation.

January is also a special month for our family as we celebrate Rachel Lamb Brown’s birthday! Rachel is such a blessing to all of us, and I hope you’ll join me in wishing her a wonderful birthday filled with God’s joy and favor.

And I’m thrilled to share some exciting network news, made possible by your partnership. Daystar Español has launched on Totalplay, Channel 389, in Mexico. Totalplay is one of the largest pay-TV providers in the nation with 2.5 million subscribers, which means millions more Spanish-speaking homes can now hear the Gospel.

We also have another major expansion: Daystar and Daystar Español have both launched on Whale TV, a global smart TV operating system. More than 44 million households worldwide actively use Whale TV, and that number is growing rapidly. We are so grateful to God for opening this door to reach the nations.

Thank you for beginning another year with us and for believing in this mission. Your prayers and generosity help us take the message of Jesus farther than ever before. Let’s move into 2026 full of faith, full of hope, and full of expectation for all that God will do.
