Daystar Partners Update

At Daystar, we believe in standing alongside the body of Christ in every season—especially in times of crisis. Today, we share a powerful and deeply moving update from our partners on the ground in Israel, Serge and Natasha, who are ministering in the midst of conflict, offering hope and help in the face of fear.

A Shelter in the Storm
From Serge and Natasha

Greetings from Israel. As we write this, we’re sitting in our church’s bomb shelter—a space that has now become both a sanctuary and a home for many. Our ICF church building, by God's grace, is serving as a literal refuge. Our family, along with several others, now sleeps here each night as the region continues to endure ongoing attacks.

During the latest wave of violence, I (Serge) was close to the front lines. I saw rockets land and witnessed the terror etched in people’s faces as they fled. Many families escaped with only the bare essentials—just a small bag of documents—everything else was left behind.

Meeting Urgent Needs

In the aftermath, hundreds of these displaced families have found temporary shelter in hotels across Tel Aviv. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve been able to meet them with both practical help and a message of enduring hope.

We’ve distributed hygiene supplies, clothing, and underwear to more than 300 people—each item a reminder that they are not forgotten. These seemingly small acts of love have brought tangible comfort in a time of overwhelming loss.

The Work Continues

But the need is far from over. More than 1,000 people still await evacuation and support. There is so much more we can do—together.

This crisis, while heartbreaking, also opens doors for profound ministry. Every time we step into a shelter or hand out a bottle of water, we see a flicker of hope return to people’s eyes. We’re embraced by strangers who become family, and through your prayers and support, we remind them that they are seen, loved, and never alone.

Thank You, Daystar Family

To our dear friends at Daystar and everyone standing with Israel through prayer and provision—we thank you from the depths of our hearts. Your partnership enables us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a land longing for peace.

We are here because of you, walking faithfully in God’s call, bringing light into the darkness.

With gratitude,
— Serge & Natasha
