Q: You wrote a book called Return of the Dark Angel. Who—or what—is the "Dark Angel," and why is this message so important for believers today?
A: It would take several pages to explain the amazing, true, personal story behind the “Dark Angel.” In brief, it is a demonic being that is assigned to individuals in a family. Unless it is exposed and prayed against, it can manifest during specific seasons, attacking in specific cycles. I discovered a death cycle on my mom’s side of the family that occurs every twelve years. Christ taught us that spirits can depart and later return (Luke 11:42-45). I wanted to teach people how to
discover these cycles in their families. That is why I wrote the book.

Q: October is a time when our culture becomes fascinated with darkness, the occult, and the supernatural. From a biblical perspective, how should Christians respond to this season without living in fear?
A: Satan is a counterfeiter. Because the fall season prophetically reveals our future in God’s three fall festivals (Jesus’ return, the tribulation, and the millennial reign), Satan has chosen this season to set his own festival on October 31st during which the demonic realm is at its highest activity. I encourage Christians to not celebrate this time in any manner, but to replace the day with Christ-based activities for families and children. Biblically, we are not to fear a vanquished foe. Christ now has all authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18).

Q: You write about ancient spiritual forces that continue to influence the world today. Are we seeing those same forces becoming more active in our generation?
A
: Nations, cities, and individual people can open the door to demonic spirit activity by practicing evil that is contrary to God’s biblical covenant. When Satan is eventually cast out of heaven, he will release great wrath on the earth, creating a time of trouble such as the world has never witnessed (Revelation 12:12). This will be a limited time of 42 months, concluding with Christ’s return to earth. As we get closer to this day, there will be an increase in demonic activity as people are yielding more to the works of the flesh.

Q: Many people dismiss spiritual warfare as symbolic or metaphorical. What would you say to them?
A
: I would suggest that they read Job 1-2, Daniel 10, Zechariah 3:1-6, and Ephesians 6:12 in detail. I would include the stories of Satan provoking David to number Israel and the judgment that followed (2 Samuel 24) and Paul battling a “hindering spirit” (demonic messenger) causing him a “thorn in the flesh” (2 Corinthians 12:7). There is absolutely nothing symbolic or metaphorical about any of these biblical warfare narratives, as Satan (the fallen angel) or an evil prince spirit is alluded to in each of these stories.

Q: You connect current global events to patterns we see throughout Scripture. What recent developments make you believe we're entering a significant prophetic season?
A
: America’s younger generation is becoming hatefully Anti-Semitic. The war in Iran (Persia) is setting up the alignment for the war of Ezekiel 38 and 39. The Ring of Fire is awakening with earthquakes and volcanoes (Matthew 24:6-7). The sun is releasing dangerous solar flares, and strange comets, asteroids, and other phenomena are being documented in the second heaven (Luke 21:25). The New Testament predicts parallel signs from the days of Lot and the days of Noah that are certainly repeating at the present. This is just a short list!

Q: Hollywood has normalized witches, wizards, magic, and other occult themes in entertainment. Are these simply innocent stories, or do you believe Christians should be more discerning about what they allow into their homes?
A: In my childhood, we watched Bugs Bunny, Road Runner, Captain Kangaroo, and Popeye. Today it is witches, demons, horror movies, spells, murder, and hauntings. Movies, songs, television programs, and videos plant seeds with the goal of making evil, witchcraft, and incantations fun and acceptable. I often say, “If Jesus, Paul, and Peter were sitting at your laptop or in your living room, would they enjoy what you are watching?” If the answer is, “Probably not,” then you should reevaluate what you are feeding your own soul and spirit!

Q: The Bible tells us not to be ignorant of Satan's devices. What are some of the enemy's most effective strategies against believers today that often go unnoticed?
A: There is a new type of deception. The new strategy is not just sin deception but information deception, mainly through social media. I have seen YouTube thumbnails with false images to pull curious people to click on their content, which is often misinformation. We see AI being used with a non-human voice and pictures that are not real, and some weak-minded people believe that the information must be true. Jesus warned that even the elect would be deceived (Matthew 24:11-13). We are living in a Matthew 24 reality. As Christians, we must not allow ourselves to be defiled by information deception. David would describe today’s opportunist types as those who “howl like a dog and go around the city” (Psalms 59:6-7). Without discernment, many will fall for fake news.

Q: Is there a connection between the growing interest in witchcraft, the occult, New Age spirituality, and the prophetic warnings Jesus gave about the last days?
A: Paul warned us to beware of “seducing spirits and doctrines of devils” in the Last Days (2 Timothy 4:1). The occult seldom impacts biblically literate Christians. But there can be cycles and patterns in which the enemy plots attacks. This is what my book details and may be the most important exposé on how this cyclical system works!

Q: You often teach that believers have authority over the enemy. Practically speaking, what does it look like to exercise that authority in everyday life?
A
: At age 18, one of my mentors taught me, “If you talk about the devil continually, he will show up. If you brag on Jesus, He will show up!” God’s delivering power is released and transferred through the laying on of hands (Mark 16:18). Spiritual authority is released when we agree with Scripture and speak His Word (Matthew 8:8). Christ expelled evil spirits and healed the sick by using both. He was anointed with the Holy Ghost (to preach) and power (to heal) (Acts 10:38). We must be filled with the Holy Spirit and know the Scriptures. This is God’s combination that allows us to be overcomers.

Q: If someone unknowingly opened the door to occult practices or spiritual deception in the past, is there freedom available?
A: In the early Church, the person was to renounce sin and their alignment with Satan, be baptized in water, and then be discipled by the Church. A Christian cannot have one foot in the world and the other foot in the Church. True repentance means changing your thinking. When you change your thinking, your conversation and actions will change and fall in line with God’s Word. This is how spiritual and mental freedom manifests. Christ said, “if the Son makes you free you will be free indeed” (John 8:36).

Q: Although this book deals with spiritual darkness, your message is ultimately one of hope. Why should believers feel confident—not fearful—as we move toward the fulfillment of biblical prophecy?
A
: Being confident means keeping your mind on Christ and His promises. Do not overdose on secular news, which often feeds sensationalism and speculation. You should be praying, reaching out to the lost, and supporting those who are building the Kingdom. My favorite statement is, “Follow the fruit and not the nuts!”
